Am here to share from what I learnt from the topic" What does the Bible said about serving in military".
Military is not an organization of death as some persons says, rather is a symbol of protection of life, property, freedom , peace and the human right.
Some people has a wrong perception of military as an organization of killers and murders, like the Jehovah witness. This act is referred to as being Shortsighted.
II Peter 1:8 "These are the qualities you need, and if you have them in abundance, they will make you active and effective in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
II Peter 1:9 "But if you do not have them, you are so shortsighted that you cannot see and have forgotten that you have been purified from your past sins.
If you have to kill to protect hundred people, it is not wrong. Or do you choose allowing one rebel to kill millions of people? If you say military is to kill, you are wrong.
Every creature on earth has the right to defend himself or herself. That is to say that, self defense is an inborn right of every organism.
Defense mechanism can be seen in every organism. Like snake, it's venom is the defense mechanism and this scares the Intruders away from snakes.
So my brethren, the Bible does not prohibit you from becoming a soldier. According to the book of Luke 3:14"Some soldiers also asked him, "What about us? What are we to do?" He said to them, "Don't take money from anyone by force or accuse anyone falsely. Be content with your pay."
Being a military, the Bible advised us not to be violent to any man and we should not accuse anyone falsely. But you should always protect even if it takes to kill.
