Tomorrow morning, I will be participating in a 10-mile running event. It was the second time that I entered one this month and the third time since I challenged myself to run a half-marathon last February. For this run, I am aiming to reach the finish line within 11/2 hour. A huge step-up from my previous 10-mile run, which I finished at 1:35. Seems an impossible goal to reach, but I can't really know whether I can do it or not until I try.
Anyway, I'm taking it easy today, so that I can give my all for tomorrow. Started my morning with some stretching exercise, followed by a 20-minute shakeout run, just to make sure my leg muscles are not stiff for tomorrow. It may look like it was late in the morning when I finished my routine, but it was still just around 7. Only that it was summer season here, resulting in the sun rising much earlier.
After that, I went home planning to grab some breakfast, but when I got into the kitchen, there was nothing to eat. It seems that my mom has just gone to do her weekly grocery shopping. Usually, she does it on Sundays, but our usual budget is no longer enough to last until Sunday. Hooray inflation! So, without a choice, I was forced to go to the nearest convenience store to buy some breakfast. Nothing fancy, just some bread and peanut butter. Once I'm done having my breakfast, the next thing I do is take a cold bath. Although I did not do any intense activity today, a cold bath just feels more refreshing in this summer heat.
Then, until lunch, all I was doing was listening to music in my room, while sorting out all the media that I took in my phone from the concerts that I watched last week, since I'm planning to write a post about it soon.
So that was it for this post. Will go out for a bit to do some errands, then will likely go straight to bed when I get home, since I need to get to the race venue at 3:00 A.M. And for my Saturday Selections, I want to share songs that were easy to listen to, so all songs in my selections were purely instrumentals.
