Hola, comunidad, espero que todos la estén pasando bien. Yo he tenido un mes bizarro, con una racha que cada vez que pestañeaba me aparecía un problema nuevo. Estaba indecisa entre si dejar los ojos siempre abiertos (pelao's) o siempre cerrados - para evitar el pestañeo -. Gracias a Dios se está encendiendo una lucecita al final del túnel y acá estamos y seguimos.
La temática que nos propone para esta semana Hive Open Mic es "Forever and ever" (Por los siglos de los siglos), lo cual me trajo a la memoria una canción del mismo nombre que colocara en 1973 en la cima de las listas de popularidad de una gran cantidad de países el insigne vocalista y bajista griego - nacido en Egipto- Demis Roussos (Alejandría, 15 de junio de 1946-Atenas, 24 de enero de 2015)
Demis Roussos se dió a conocer primero como integrante de la agupación de rock progresivo "Aphrodite's Child" (El hijo de Afrodita). Luego se separó del grupo y comenzó una super exitosa carrera como solista.
Demis llegó a vender ¡más de sesenta millones de discos en todo el mundo! Y sus presentaciones se salían por completo de lo común. Se presentaba con cabello y barba largos y vestía su voluminoso cuerpo con amplias túnicas.

Sé que para los que peinamos - o pintamos - canas será muy grato escuchar nuevamente su voz y esta canción que está ligada a recuerdos de situaciones específicas de nuestras vidas. Con respecto a la canción, es muy romántica, típico de las canciones de aquella época dorada de la música. Es un juramento de amor eterno.
