One year ago, the Steemit platform offered an opportunity to practice accountability in a health experiment I conducted on myself; the results were shared with all of you.
Including hallucinating in the steam room 🧖♂️, dreaming of eating carbohydrates instead of just looking at them and literally drooling, and taking freezing cold showers where select parts of my anatomy found a way to hide in my stomach.
Those results demonstrated how one really determined guy could legitimately lose 10 pounds of body fat, in just two weeks, through diet and cold exposure alone.
No weight lifting or exercise involved at all.
Unless you include sprinting up and down the stairs after waking up, because awakening, indoors, to air only heated to the 50's required movement to stop shivering.
When, as a man, you actually sit down to pee because the heat in the toilet bowl was a brief reprieve from the cold.
The time has come, one year later, to re-engage in another personal health experiment to determine what one person can achieve through extreme effort and accountability on Steemit.
The time horizon has been expanded to six weeks this time.
Drinking only water, a diet of brown rice and chicken 🍗, seasoned with sauces described as the experiment progresses.
Home temperature set to 57:
Don't do this, especially if you have children, pets, or even plants 🌱 in your home.
They will probably die.
Also: Child Services, PETA, and people who love plants would be mad.
The experiment begins today!
Here are the starting body measurements:
The goals are to achieve 100 pounds of skeletal muscle mass and less than 11% of body fat.
In just 6 weeks.
Challenges will be shared truthfully, and factors which help to overcome these challenges shall be shared on this blog to help encourage others (maybe even you?) as we approach the New Year, when many of us attempt to establish resolutions to help make 2018 one of the best years of our lives.
Here we GO!
Thank you all, so much, for being a part of my life.
Your presence has made this ride called life that much more fun and enjoyable.
I wish you all the best week EVER!
