Last summer, one Sunday, the program was a visit to a theater with a tour of Győr. And the performance is a historical musical piece, the musical Elisabeth. The play by Szilveszter Lévay and Michael Kunze can be seen directed by Péter Forgács. Great songs performed by lots of good-voiced actors, super bands, beautiful age-appropriate costumes and good choreography. The musical presents Sissi’s life and its difficulties, so it’s not an easy, good-natured performance but a serious, deep-feeling performance. Of course, there was a melody in this piece that accompanied me all the way home, it just didn’t go out of my head. The whole performance was fantastic, both visually and aurally. One by one, the actors were very good at both acting and singing. For me, the favorite in the play is Réka Bori, who plays Elisabeth, with her fantastic voice and powerful play, and István Csiszár, who plays Death. Of the scenes, I don’t think I can even highlight a favorite because it was all good, so in its full unity.
