Images can be deceiving. If shot in a certain way a fish can look huge and menacing. In the dark of the night this monster could be a true leviathan or just a small, 20 cm Red Irish Lord.
Red Irish Lords are sculpins that live predominantly in the Pacific Northwest. The are not the smallest sculpins in the world but one of the bigger ones. They are wonderfully coloured and range from snow white to dark red and everything in between.
Lighting can change everything about an image. Yes there are some standards when it comes to how you may want to shot but be creative thing outside the box. Have fun with it. You never know what you may come up with.
Thanks for reading.
