When I started this 15 days ago, I was sneaking to Starbucks and eating lovely sandwiches, I was going to the garage and buying sausage rolls, buying takeaways every night over the weekend and treating myself to sweets and chocolates during every solo trip to the shops.
Now these all mounted up in pounds and kilos, but they also ate a sizable chunk of my disposable income. Twice a week to Starbucks - €20, sausage rolls while at the garage €5, takeaways over the weekend €60, general random treats while at the shops €10-€15 a week.
I'm estimating that I will be saving at least €30 a week all because I am eating more healthily, which works out to €120 on a four week month and around about a whopping €1520 a year!!!!!
I forgot it yesterday at dinner, but this evening I took smaller bites, took my time chewing them and tried to actually taste what I was eating. The result was that I felt fuller and actually enjoyed my dinner.
As always, thanks to everyone who has supported me during this challenge, it is all very much appreciated.
Thanks to for his creativity and generosity in giving me this, check out his excellent posts.
