Thank you loyal followers of fantastical art and existential prose!

Reaching over 100 followers is quite the feat. And I couldn't have done it without my little helpers: Hive account@frolickinraptors and Hive account@robyneggs. Thank you so much to these two people who helped me gain the confidence to keep posting on my own. Hive account@frolickinraptors has featured my art in her popular Irish fiction novel We Come Back, while Hive account@robyneggs was kind enough to post my first prose, I Dreamed It, for me under her account, to gain more exposure. Thanks again for all you do.

I am proud to announce the addition of "Ghost Ladies" to my new collection of canvases.

Formerly a watercolor artist, my second dip into acrylic painting and using a palette has paid off. By pouring the paint onto the canvas I was able to play with the light and dark pigments, using my palette knife, by gauging the amount of time the paint sat before it was scraped over.

Above is the result of several days of applications using this technique. It creates a whole world of difference, of playfulness. I feel like the ghost ladies are inviting me to play inside their painted, ethereal world... To accompany this piece I chose to pair it with a recent prose (below). Hope you enjoy!
