Hail to the Hive!

We met up with a couple of narrowboaters that I follow on YouTube and had a couple of friendly pints and a good old fashioned chin wag about boating and making videos as I also have a YouTube channel and it’s kind of fun to do. When we met they had this handsome fellow with them and I just had to try and capture some of the bucket loads of personality the little fella had.

‘Pudding’

I have to say he was quite a cooperative model. A real pro! Never looked away from the camera and stayed quite still. His advancing age may have played a part in this.

‘Pudding’ is his name and he’s awesome.

I was quite taken with him and could see exactly why He was loved so much and looked every bit the faithful companion.

I realised right away that a monomad shoot would capture his character all the more and so happily snapped away as we chatted and drank our pints in a good old fashioned canal side English pub. Bliss.

It has me wondering now that when the time comes do we get a boat dog or a boat cat?
