Rice Cooker Recipe ∼∼ Steamed Chicken With Herbs
Nowadays, many working mummies have to rush back to home after work to prepare dinner for their family. To prepare dinner in a limited time, mummies are always look for some easy and healthy recipes.
Today, I would like to share an easy and yummy rice cooker recipe ∼∼ Steamed Chicken With Herbs.
Ingredients:
Chicken drumstick ∼ 1 piece
Red dates ∼ 5-8 pieces
Goji berry ∼ 15-20 pieces
Ginger ∼ few slices
Light soy sauce ∼ 1 soup spoon
Cornstarch ∼ 1 soup spoon
Salt ∼ ½ teaspoon
Black sesame oil ∼ 2 teaspoons
Water ∼ 7 soup spoons
Directions:
Firstly, remove the skin of chicken drumstick, wash and cut into small pieces. Put the chicken into a bowl, add in the cornstarch, salt and 2 soup spoons of water, use chopsticks or fork to mix it well. Marinate it for 15 minutes.
Wash the red dates and cut into few pieces.
Soak the goji berry in water for ten minutes.
Put the chicken, red dates, goji berry and ginger into a plate. Then add in light soy sauce, black sesame oil and 5 soup spoons of water.
Put the plate of chicken into the rice cooker, steam above the rice together. When the rice is cooked, then the chicken is ready to serve.
