Greetings steemians.. Hope y' all had a great weekend.. Today i want to share with you something that changed my entire life since the first day i discovered it up till this minute.. Its the joy of salvation.
Joy is the greatest asset of life because it carries a lot of fringe benefits and interestingly, it is one of the vital ministries of the holy spirit. The holy spirit is our dependable sorve of joy.. Who generates joy unspeakable that is full of glory. Moreover, if we are truely filled with the holy spirit, we will be free from depression. There are different sources of joy, which include:
THE JOY OF SALVATION
This is the gateway of a joyful life. Until our soul become regenerated, we will remain wanderers, frustrated, disillusioned, confused, confounded and wondering what life is all about. But salvation is our escape from a world of sorrow, depression and joylessness. From the miracle of salvation, we gain access to the realm of joy that comes from the lord. David said,
restore unto me the joy of my salvation ( psalm 51:12).
Salvation qualifies us to possess the virtue of joy, which was lost during the fall. Thus, when we are truly filled with the holy spirit, the joy of salvation becomes evident in our lives; it is the antidepressants we need, which keeps us flying above all circumstances.
CONCLUSION
Happiness is circumstantial, but joy is a virtue that manifests itself no matter the prevailing circumstances.
