Hi All.
As a Dutch guy I enjoy the short summer at it's fullest each and every year as much as possible. My country is well know for it's rainy weather also other than weed and hookers or cheese. So when it's sunny and hot, I am outside enjoying all the nature's green colours. I recently was checking out the pictures I took during the summer and I was really amazed by how beautiful I found them. I'm not really a photographer or something and I have totally no Idea what I'm doing. And I even have no new Iphone with all these bullsht filters and effects to become a good one overnight but I wanted to share these with you.
This is me, in my country in the Netherlands at a very hot summerday at the local park in my home city. We have a lot of green parks around here and I take a walk to them a couple of times a week, just enjoying the nature and the environment.
One day when I was visiting my parents, a wild pigeon appeared. So I took a photo of it.
I love to watch water, this photo is at the same park of the first picture. Water has a therapeutic effect on me, it makes me relaxed.
I love animals, and especially if they are wild. I just happened to have some peanuts with me on my daily walk in june. Some gooses came to get some.. I personally love this picture the most since it's very colourful and shows how beautiful nature is.
Whenever I walk to the city center I cross this tunnel. Graffiti artists made a lot of places in my city very colourfull. I really respect good graffiti skills. Eindhoven has a very artistic community and a university. Art and innovation is where my city is known for by people around the globe. Eindhoven is because of it's history of philips and is also called the city of light (lichtstad). Many company's and startups are founded here. The city holds the status as the smartest region worldwide because of it's innovation and has a small ''silicon valley'' area called ''High Tech Campus''.
Another great great great piece of art on a wall. This is a picture of a famous and very skilled rapper / actor / comedian Fresku who happened to grow up in the same area I live in. This piece of art is made by one very skilled graffiti artist! I'm trying to find out who he or she is.
The colours of this sunflower and the bee on it were made when I was visiting a friend of mine early august. I really like how simple yet beautifull a picture can be.
