Time has rolled up quickly for the monthly Witness Chat in The Ramble. Last month was well attended and a very interesting conversation covering a range of topics.
We’re expecting 
Since the last chat:
- the Steem Alliance Working Group has continued to work on a process for receiving and eventually having voting on proposals for a future foundation.
- Steemit Inc has reached a handshake agreement with
to develop a Worker Proposal System within the next couple of months
- the planning for that WPS includes funding to come from the reward pool, specifically the Author rewards which has generated some discussion on the platform, not only about that decision but about the value of the content creators
- the State of Steem is starting to wind down at least for this round. These very successful series of forums under the excellent guidance of
and his co-moderator
has sparked a lot of activity around the future of the platform and our role in moving it forward
- I’m hearing that the Steem Business Alliance which saw it’s beginnings at Steemfest 3 is getting ready to roll out into public view
So, lots going on, anything is up for discussion in this Chat.
And of course ALL witnesses are welcome to take part. Hope to see you there, seems there is much to be discussed.
These chats are a designed to bring together the community and the witnesses who keep the blockchain functioning. As members of the community, we are supposed to place our votes wisely to determine which of the witnesses rise through the ranks and which don’t. Every vote counts.
