Hey there people of Hive there is a new initiative by the OCD community urging the old bloggers and all the new ones to introduce themselves on this platform, for those of who don’t know this community the OCDB people have always supported great quality blogs in the past and are still working here to support new and upcoming writers. They are one of the witnesses who stood against Justin Sun and made Hive a reality.
Well as for me my name is Shaheer Bari and I was part of the Steem community since January 2018, usually writing random stuff like what is happening in my life, sometimes the heart leads the way on others I am currently in my final semester of Mechanical Engineering in NED University Pakistan and hence I like the technological aspect of the manufacturing world and my write ups consist of that too. More over as a Pakistani kid living in a society where crypto currency isn’t the norm and people don’t really know about it, I feel more at home in this platform, I first heard about Bitcoin in May 2017 and bought it with my savings later that month. Unfortunately, Pakistan banned this amazing technology and future of the world, but I didn’t back down being active on the community at steem I got my way around. Now a new era of blogging begins and I’m really excited to be a part of it here.
It is really comforting to see most of the older faces here on Hive as you all know 2019 was a tough year for me as I lost a great soul my Father on December 2019 a sad beginning to 2020 and you know how 2020 has been with Covid-19. Hope everyone is safe and now I have recovered from the great loss and learnt to just enjoy life. I try to let people know the culture and traditions in Pakistan as a country, people around the world have a very negative thought process when they hear the word Pakistan and I’m here to clarify that, we are normal people who love our country I watch all sorts of sports Basketball, cricket and football. I try to persuade people to at least visit Pakistan once in their lifetime and experience the warmth and hospitality people have in the country.
As a 22-year-old I have a long way to go but I’m thankful that I have chosen the right path to financial freedom, people here have great experiences to share and that is one thing that books can’t teach true experiences really makes you learn a lot. I try to grasp the most that I can about life in general from the community. I have travelled across Pakistan in the past year and believe me the places that I have seen are surreal, places like Attabad lake, Fairy Meadows and Khunjerab pass are just a few please search my blogs or google to imagine what the beauty of nature is. Recently I traveled to Jhelum another village in Pakistan I have yet to post my experience there but due to the virus travelling is not an option for the next couple of months.
I welcome every new blogger on Hive and through my experience previously on Steemit I can assure you will have a blast writing here, the community is very supportive and recognizes genuine people.
