B&W Photo Contest - Clouds - Entry 1

Hi Steem friends,

For my first entry into this week's bwphotocontest, I'm sharing a photo that I took a few months ago just before heading home from University for the day. As I looked over toward where the residence buildings are, I noticed the crazy formation of these clouds branching outward from a distant point. I'd imagine that these individual lines all came from individual airplanes that must have just flown overhead recently. I believe the term that's used for these is "contrails". It's pretty strange that so many planes would have all flown by right around the same time in nearly the same place, but I'm sure they were all quite spread out in terms of altitude to avoid any safety concerns!

Seeing this reminds me a lot of the formations that you would see outputted from airplanes at stunt shows, or from those air force jets that fly over the stadiums before the Super Bowl.
