As of now there is no theme or guidelines, I will just be posting a sweet list like this one that showcases 5 photos from 5 different relatively unknown accounts. Each post featured will get a massive 100% upvote from me as well as a fifth of the proceeds from this curation post. Hopefully in the future I will be able to expand on these rewards. Let me know if you have any ideas ;)
If you want to make sure I see your posts in the future use the tag #5fabphotos. Otherwise I’ll just be creepin’ the photo tags as usual.
The inspiration for this weekly curation came from ’s project “The Mesopotamians” which is an awesome initiative to help build community minded leaders in the Steemosphere, which in turn will make this a stronger platform overall.

This first post is from a brandy new Steemer
. Literally her first post, so let’s give her a warm welcome.

The colors in this photo are beautiful. The warmth of the sunset and the pale blue of the sky around it, the clouds adding a bit of depth and detail. She chose not to use the rule of thirds here and it works for me, I find that the extra darkness at the bottom gives more impact to the sky. Keep ‘em coming :)
Next up is a photo from

I love the graininess and oldschool tone of this picture. The fallen tree posed really nicely and the long exposure gives a smoothness to everything that is very soft and pleasing to my eyeballs. I love the slightly desaturated colors, it makes a statement about our fading relationship with the earth that gives us life.
Moving right along, I bring you

The pale yellows and browns of the branches and far bank are beautiful against the pale blue of the sky and the river. Really a great color pallet here. Indeed sometimes we all need a rest.
Coming up next we have
with some autumn foliage.

I grew up in an area with beautiful seasonal tree art like this and it has been many a year since I have been able to spend autumn there. These photos brought a bit of nostalgia to my eyes. I also really like the line of the trees here and the use of space in the top right corner.

The lines in this image are just great, from the bokeh given by the sun to the shadows on the asphalt to the suspiciously high-altitude-aerosol-emisions looking clouds. Really cool.
Well that about does it folks.
Thanks for watching another episode of Fab 5 Photos Friday. Keep cool out there, (or warm depending on your prevailing weather conditions) and come back and see me again next week.
