In this era of banking networks and blockchain integration, cash management of ATM or CRM machines is a very sensitive and important task. Recently, I completed a complete cash refresh and reload process of an ATM machine. I am sharing this entire process step by step for those who work in the technical field.
The work started by checking the current status of the machine. First, I took out the inventory report from the machine. That is, I took a detailed print copy of the exact amount of money left in each cassette inside the machine. This is very important to maintain an audit trail.
To make the entire system work like new, I refreshed the cash counter of the machine. This means clearing all the previous data or remaining money accounts from the system. This ensures that when new money is input, it does not conflict with any previous accounts.
After clearing the system, the real work began. I opened each cassette or box and loaded the new notes very carefully. It is very important that the correct arrangement of the notes and the cassette sensors are in good working order. After loading the money, I 're-input' the new amount on the system counter so that the machine understands how much money is in which box.
After completing the internal work of the machine, I contact our ADC. The final input of the entire machine is confirmed by providing information to the ADC to synchronize the machine's data with the central server. As a result, the bank server knows that this particular ATM is now ready to serve customers.
Finally, I made a transaction myself to make sure that everything is fine. The transaction was successful, confirming that the loading process was 100% accurate from both the hardware and software sides.
ATM loading is not just a matter of filling money, it is a perfect mathematical and technical process. Every step depends on correct data entry. These types of real-time operations are what keep our modern banking system running and secure.
