Today's afternoon was spent with friends in a different way. A sudden plan was made to go to the famous sweet shop in the area. To be honest, when friends are chatting, intense hunger and craving for sweets come together. Then all the rules of diet were blown away in a flash. As soon as we stepped into the shop, the familiar sweet smell around us made us feel good. We ordered hot rasgolla and langcha, straight from the stove. It was a sight to behold, floating in a thick, sugary syrup in a large aluminum container. When the hot sweets were served in clay pots in front of us, it was hard to resist the temptation. As soon as I took the first bite of the hot sweet, it felt like a heavenly feeling. When the warm, sweet juice spread from the soft, fluffy sweet into my mouth, it felt like all the fatigue of the day disappeared in an instant.
Even more enjoyable than eating sweets was the quarrel between friends. Whose sweets were softer, who took more syrup, and who stole sweets from whose plate all this led to a lot of laughter. The shopkeeper's smile, along with the trolling of others about the sweetness of one person's mouth, and the urge to take selfies, all added to our joy. The taste of sweets will linger on the tongue for a long time, but these golden moments spent with friends will remain in the corner of the mind for a lifetime. It is such small joys that keep us alive in the busyness of mechanical life. This smoky afternoon at the sweet shop was truly a strangely satisfying experience.
