There is a lot of interest in news stories about major businesses getting involved in cryptocurrency and recently there is a lot of interest in Retail Giant Nike getting involved with cryptocurrency.
Here’s what I have been able to determine from reading the news stories and perusing the website of the United States Patent Office.
Nike filed a Trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for the name “Cryptokicks”
I believe from the information I read that indeed there is a development plan for a blockchain and it’s name may well be “CryptoKicks”. I believe this based on the following information.

- Other information which gives specific details of the intended purpose of the Trademark application were listed in the license.

That’s what I know so far. A very interesting development in the crypto space as adoption of cryptocurrency by a major retail player will surely increase mass interest in cryptocurrency and investigations of crypto may lead people to familiar platforms like social media and Steemit.
