We are now discharged from the hospital after 3 days. We have finally been cleared of what started as pneumonia resulted to a disease is the bronchus. But definitely the signs are no longer noticeable, the antibiotics has done its job well and I am thankful for the nurses and the doctors who has cared for us from start to finish.
Man, are we exhausted. And I guess we deserve a hearty meal after this small parental trial we just underwent. And we set the course to Gangnam, South Korea but then this time in a local mall, J Centre Mall.
Welcome to Gangnam Tteokbokki.
Where they serve comfort korean streetfood'ish. That is yummy and very very affordable.
Tteokbokki, however it is spelled.
Rice Cake and Fish Cake topped with sesame seeds.
Jeyuk Dupbap? I think this is called.
This is a rice bowl with some beef, sliced veggies and a tad bit of sweet sauce topped with fried egg and sesame seeds.
Gimbap! Topped with a much healthy kid and a firetruck.
Korean Roll!
Deee lee shus! What was not in the picture was Ramyun and their home made Kimchi. Yes they make their own and I am happy to say that theirs is one of the best byfar in Cebu that I tasted.
We had to have korean food today after the convo me and my friends had last night. We will be off to Korea by, hopefully, February next year. And we could not help but taste what Korea is all about right now to remind us why we chose Korea as our destination of choice next year.
Hats off to the chef and owner of Gangnam Toekkbokki and for having us a taste of Korean Streetfood. We will definitely be coming back for more, that I could guarantee.
Thanks for having me again!
