Recently, I've been having a few bits and pieces of success with my writing, and I wanted to share one of those with you. I submitted a story of mine to Liars' League, which is a bi-monthly competition; the winners have their stories read by professional actors at an event.
It was surreal to have a story read aloud, and hear people's reactions to it. Some of my friends came along to The Phoenix, near Oxford Circus, and it was a great time. I also got free booze for the evening, which was great.
