Of all that we say and write about science, especially when accompanying this word with epithets like "applied", "theoretical," "pure," "socialist," etc., the general lack of a clearly defined notion of science is noticeably noticeable. This is partly due to its extreme breadth, allowing everyone to choose from the general definition the most accessible and close to him traits and interpret the part as a whole. Therefore, I want to clarify the concept of science, to which I will resort in the future.
A common mistake is the narrowing and impoverishment of the notion of science. Many consider it as a directly applied tool of applied value and do not see the importance of science for the whole culture of human society. The concept of science in its full form is undoubtedly one of the most extensive. It directly follows from the process of growth of human culture, i.e. the process of organized struggle of mankind with nature and the use of those opportunities that it gives to improve the overall welfare.
