Upon reaching Kuwak Yaku, Lara and Jonah met Abby, who shared intel about local ruins and a carved symbol. Leaving Jonah behind, I explored the village market, utilized a campfire, and bought gear from a trader. Inside the ancient ruins Lara uncovered a hidden wall translation.
So we at last reached the village we were looking for, which is named Kuwak Yaku, and it's in Peru, nestled deep in the dense forest. It was stood in stark contrast to the thick, untamed green canopy surrounding the isolated settlement.
After getting to the village, we met this lady who was interested in talking to us and mentioned she needed a break anyway. So they first got introduced among themselves.
Then this lady, Abby, offered them drink, while mentioned she own the only bnb in his village despite the external troubles. And after seeing a photo of our artifact, she said she has seen this symbol before and mentioned there are some ruins nearby, having similar symbols.
Leaving Jonah behind alone with Abby to enjoy her hospitality, Lara decided to check the symbol and the ruins immediately. So I started questioning people around for hints, talking to fishers and workers along the dusty paths of the village.
On my way through the outskirts, I found this campfire that I used to save my progress with while giving Lara some rest as well. The warmth of the fire allowed me to look over our inventory and upgrade skills before pushing forward.
Then I started moving through the village where I noticed the villagers were gossiping around about various things. And there was this market area where I found people selling various kinds of stuffs.
And at last I reached the ruins gate on the edge of the jungle, and there I found a friendly trader from whom I bought a lot of things. I loaded up on resource bags and helpful gear modifications that would aid in exploration.
And at last, I found the ruins Abby was talking about and it looked like really ancient, covered in centuries of moss and vines. So I started moving inside carefully, checking the structural integrity of the stone ceiling as we entered.
After getting inside there to examine the chambers, suddenly, Jonah appeared out of nowhere, which surprised me, as I thought Lara was alone there. I guess, he finished his drink and decided it was time to watch his partner's back again.
Lara found the symbol that we mentioned carved deeply on a crumbling wall, which translated textually to "the twins come together." Lara studied the crude markings, realizing it was a vital piece of a much larger chronological puzzle.
Then Lara understood something was hidden behind the wall based on the structural hollow sound, so she started hitting on the wall with her ice axe. And it looked like it was a false wall, and the full symbol got revealed. Which says "the twins come together before following the path of the living."
