Conflicts and protests haven't stopped the people in Gaza City, Palestine from celebrating the holy month of Ramadan on Thursday. A Palestinian youth is spotted waving a sparkler next to a mosque in Gaza City on Wednesday evening.
Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, is celebrated by Muslims around the world, who during the festival refrain from eating, drinking, smoking and sex from sunrise to sunset.
Although people from the Gaza-Israel border have gone through a lot during the protests against the relocation of the Israel embassy to Jerusalem, their faith is still strong.
