Do you want to see the display cases for the Australian Lunar III Gold and Silver coins?
Gosh,
is so in‑tune with coin collections. He brought it up in a comment last week, and honestly, that was all it took for me to work up the courage to show these. It’s still a little embarrassing to admit I bought them back in 2021, right when I picked up my second silver and gold Lunar coins.
I know, I know. Who buys something this nice and then just tucks it away? Apparently, me. It was totally a “carriage before the horse” moment, because I bought it a full eleven years before I’ll even complete the set.
These display cases are honestly pretty lovely. They’re sturdy, clean, and have that simple look that makes the coins feel even more special. You know how some collectibles don’t really look like collectibles until you put them in the right case? That’s exactly what happens here. The Australian Lunar III series already has an elegant, refined look, but once the coins sit in these cases, they suddenly feel like pieces worthy of a museum display.
And no, I’m not trying to pass myself off as some hardcore collector. I just enjoy these coins and like keeping things somewhat organized. But when I open the box, I feel that little spark of excitement thinking about eventually completing the whole set. That’s really why I bought the case in the first place... to give myself the motivation to see it through.
So thank you, , for nudging me. Sometimes all it takes is one comment to show you what I should have shared ages ago.
