To celebrate the Hive blockchain, I have designed the next Hive Silver Round for 2024. It will be ready sometime in April!

My friend, Hive account@yanes94, is a digital artist who goes by Triz Draw. She does excellent work! Have you seen her work? If you haven't met her yet, please visit her blog and say hello!!!

I am fascinated by mermaids! But I often get so disappointed with how they are depicted in most artwork.

So I thought of asking Hive account@yanes94 to make an artwork for me with the following specifications:

That was way back in January.

And yesterday, she completed it.

This was the first time Hive account@yanes94 did a painting like this; using an "overlay" to completely paint a drawing. She used shades of pink for the mermaids hair and tail, put some seashells for the chest, and provided full coverage of scales up to the waist.

It's a gold coin. A dragon coin!

A mermaid, amazed at finding a gold dragon coin at the bottom of the sea...

She's a pink mermaid!! What name shall we give her???
