Got water?🤣
Silvertop does Lol!🤣
On my rainy hike today I needed to take shelter, it was pouring!😅
I stopped at Grants cabin, he is our Canadian neighbor.
Grant hasn’t been down since Covid, this off-grid cabin has been sitting empty.
I waited out the cold downpour on his outside porch.
He has a very secluded location, in the fourth photo you can see his wooden foot bridge over his creek……. the only path in or out!😊
Fall is an exceptionally beautiful time of year, and Grant has planted some eye catching trees! Just look at the second to last photo! This is a Larch in full Fall color!☺️
A Larch has needles like a pine tree, but it is a deciduous tree. It drop’s it’s needles, like the leaf bearing trees in the forest.
It is easy to mistake this tree as a dead tree, after all the needles drop!🤔
Come Spring it is also impressive with a new green canopy!☺️
The rain let’s up for a minute…….Silvertop starts hiking.
Here it comes again………😅
I can make it to the high trail ……..
Time to call it a day, Liz will be home soon……
A dryer day tomorrow…….maybe!😇
Till then this is Silvertop Mike 😊
