Potted plants and houses (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend!
Yesterday was the Mother's Day and so, even if I'm in later, at first I want to wish all the best to every mom here. ❤️
About myself, after the call of my daughter Hive account@noemilunastorta for the Mom's Day wishes, I spent the most part of my Sunday in relax, watching some episodes of a tv series sitting on my sofa with my hubby and our furry friends, cooking and eating good apple fritters. Outside was raining, so what's better than to spend the free day in a cozy way at home? 😁

Later in the afternoon I'll teach art to the kids, but waiting that moment I exercised my hands with my brushes and colors painting potted plants and tiny houses.
You can see the result of my exercises in the following pic:

As you can see, it was just an exercise for me to understand if some shades of colors could work togheter in one of my next painting.
I used my oil colors on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and on a couple of scraps of cardboard. As usual, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
