During the Christmas market of yesterday, a lot of people appreciated my tiny freaky wooden sculptures, so I decided it was time to create some new ones of them! Adults and children love them and I think it's really a precious thing, because not always an adult (a young guy or an old woman) love to have the same things that the children want!
Yesterday a nice little girl (5 years old) watched them and said "So nice!!!" and she asked me what they are, so I explained to her that their name is "Monolocali Biculi" (in italian sounds like "one-room house with a couple of eyes") and even if she was too much young to know the meanings of those terms, she was really curious to know why they have 4 legs and why they have strange eyes ^_^ It was beautiful and she was happy to know that she could play a bit with them and with me too ^_^
I think nothing is better than a smile of a little one, she made my day!
Ok, it's really time to work on something new and, as you can see in the following pics, my "old" freaky sculptures are curious to see how I'm working and they are waiting the new born:
After the first steps using different tools, I decided to add on the new one a sort of "cloud" before to paint it using my oil colors:
I just gave it some first strokes, but I'm waiting it will dry to paint it. I think tomorrow it will be ready to show you, stay tuned!
See ya soon
