- International mother language day is a worldwide annual observance held on 21st to promote 21st February to promote Awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and promote multilingualism.
- The theme of the year is linguistic diversity and multilingualism for sustainable development.
- There are more than 7000 languages in the world.
- Finally a day dedicated to languages we spoke. According to sone research after every week or two, one language and all the heritage belonging to that extinct.
- Language which is not developed in a single day, it take generations and is attached to lot of stories, incidents it's a way of living and it is something that we get as gift from elders.
- India alone has 22 official languages.
