Evolution is an ongoing process that keep advancing all the time, almost everyday scientist keep recognising different species of creatures that had never recorded or seen before in history.
- Today I will talk about two such species unknown to us.
- The first one is a freshwater fish found in northern part of Manipur, India. This species is named as Pethia Poiensis. While this fish us not new for the local population living there and is named Nagkha Macha by localities.
- It is recognised scientifically by researcher team from Zoological survey of india and Manipur University's life science department in challou river of Manipur.
- And 2nd one is a Water Strider, this discovery is also done by Zoological survey of india and this species is named "Patilomera Nagalanda Jehamalar and Chandra", and this strider is found in Intanki river of phere district.
- This insect lives on water surface with the help of phenomenon called surface tension and whole lot of science, and it's presence is considered as an indicative of water Quality.
