Folks, if your name is tagged on this post, which is set to receive no rewards on purpose, then read on.
It came to my attention that a brand new empty-wallet, 25 rep, no follower, no follows account had published two posts called "Ban Lists" from an account named 
Hive account@banlist with your names in it. They appear to be trying to do a phishing scam as the list is followed by a demand of 5 HBD to get your name removed from the list.
DO NOT SEND THIS SCAM ACCOUNT ANY FUNDS!
And you may want to know you are on the list so you can observe, or downvote or comment or do as you wish with this information.
Do not shoot the messenger but the poster did not tag and you may have missed it otherwise. I would have overlooked or missed it too, but someone told me about it because they saw it by happenstance.
To anyone else: IGNORE THIS SILLY LIST FULL. It is clearly sort of random, users of all types and sizes and roles on the chain, it includes long dead accounts and bot accounts and all sorts of nonsense.
Posting this as a headsup and warning to be wary of phishing scams.
The account has one tie to a human account: 
Hive account@hiveonboard delegates a small amount of RC to it, which in turn ties to a dead witness that is deactivated names 
Hive account@roomservice. One can only assume that account is in charge of this impotent scammer account as well by association.
Not sure if they expected to get away with phishing on such a flimsy premise, but not on my watch, friends.
Once again apologies for the massing tagging, I will only do this if I think its very relevant to you to know your name is being used behind your backs.

EDIT: Crap I was so disturbed I forgot to turn off rewards before submitting. I will donate all the funds to a HIVE chain based charity option as nominated by anyone's comments below suggesting one and based on the most votes on said comment below by the time this post pays out.
