Nicolas Cage is talking about Longlegs again and apparently the performance was heavily influenced by his own mother, which is kind of unsettling when you think about how creepy that character came out, he also says he was insistent on being the one to play the role in a the upcoming sequel, which tells me this is actually moving forward, I do not know if a second movie is needed because the first one worked largely because of how little it revealed leading up to release and that kind of mystery is hard to pull off twice, Cage channeling personal family stuff into a horror role like that does make you look at the whole thing differently though,
