"Buy once and play for a long time". No NFT, nada. Just pure old school tower defense fun.
In the days of NFTs, is this a good game to spend time on? Does everything need to be #play2earn?
How much will the NFTs be worth if the game is not fun at all? There will not be any longevity. It is a risky proposition to bank on a "bigger fool" than you.
If the game is boring, it is just matter of time when the game NFTs are worthless - like many #play2earn games did not survive this bear market.
There is always this notion that NFT holders can use the same NFT assets and revive the game, or find alternative use of it. True, but it is not that simple. Gamers are not developers, and it all depends on how big the community is. Good games that earn a huge player base get long lasting diehard communities, that's when NFT assets will have the longevity.
If the game is "earn first, fun second", it will not last.
Not every second of your existence need to be "making money". Money come, money go, health and happiness come first. This is investing in happiness 😄
