I Took a taste Korean Dumplings in the traditional bazar

I 'm working near DaeJeon city in Korea.
DaeJeon is a large city where more than 1 million people reside.
Old city has it's unique place. That is traditional bazar.
I looked around the bazar.
This is Joongang bazar. Joongang means Center.

I took a picture of enterance.
Of course, taking a taste is one of my purpose.

I heard several times in Jooang bazar, there is famous old style restaurant ony local residents know.
The name is Gaecheon which could be interpreted in many ways.
It could mean stream or open sky. I don't know what the name means. I forgot to ask.

Anyway the eterance was hard to find, only one man manage to enter.

Through the corridor you can go up the stairs to senond floor.

There is a small room after the cramped stairs.

For foreigners sitting in the floor could be a adventure.
I think it might be not easy for foreigns to eat something in sitting on the floor.

We orderd dumpling soup.
In korean food, one of the most important thing is preparing for a delicious soup.

So much efforts are needed to prepare for the soup.
It is needed to boil the meat for longtime and then put raddish , onions and some various kinds of vegetables.

Soup was very well harmonized with dumpling.
Egg add flavor and color.
Taste of soup was very delicate. I can smell a pork, but it stimulate my appetite.

Inside of the Dumpling is made from tofu and some vegetables, there was not so much meat.

It is not easy for foreigners to taste real local food.
I strongly recomend this reataurant.
It is not easy to find, but if you find and tase the Dumpling you never regret.
