For the past three months of being a Steemian, I have experienced a lot of wonderful things that I myself cannot believe. My personal, social, and financial well-being has been enriched to the nth level while engaging myself into this tremendous community, and words can’t express how grateful I am. During my first few days as a Steemian, I have read several tips through Sndbox’s Steemit Wallet Walkthroughs. It is basically about how Steemit works on the technical side. It helped me internalize the technicalities of Steemit and its contribution to the World of Cryptocurrency. If you’re a newbie, I suggest reading such walkthroughs for I find it very easy to comprehend especially to those who have little to no idea about Cryptocurrency but have found their way here on Steemit. Being an official Sndbox fellow, I am making the following commitments to exercise my influence for a greater purpose:
Encourage more and more Young Professionals. Since the value of Steem is based on its content, I am pouring extreme efforts to encourage young professionals to find their way here on Steemit. I personally believe that they can greatly contribute to Steemit’s content by providing their personal and professional experiences in line with the nature of their work. Right now, I have already brought my fellow Civil Engineers, but I did not limit to my corporate field alone. In fact, some of them are Mechanical Engineers, Electronic Engineers, Teachers, and even Accounting Staffs. And I am proud to share that most of them are already doing well in this newly-found family. Still, I am not limiting to young professionals alone. Whether you’re a writer or not, a Cryptocurrency Investor or not, a young professional or not, I will still encourage you. Everybody deserves to know the great opportunity Steemit has to offer.
Inviting Financial Literacy Advocates, Stock Market Investors, and Cryptocurrency Investors to Steemit. I am a firm believer of the saying “You cannot give something you do not have”. Being a Financial Literacy Advocate, I have this huge heart to extend my learnings to everyone. I am not a financial guru nor a crazy-rich investor, but I have this burning drive to share my knowledge. And I want my fellow investors to do the same. Bringing them here on Steemit could be helpful for giving tips and strategies that could aid the ones who have the same interest but are quite unequipped with enough knowledge.
Recreate Myself through Others. Ever since I learned the great opportunity Steemit has to offer, I have been constantly promoting it to my fellow Engineers, young professionals, friends, and loved ones online and offline. In fact, I have already gathered a number of folks recently after initiating some talks about Cryptocurrency and Steemit.
The number of new Steemians I am bringing here on Steemit is growing everyday. Since almost all of them have little to no knowledge about Cryptocurrency and Steemit, they have this great urge to learn more about it. Being the one who brought them here, I believe it is my responsibility to guide them in their fresh days, but I cannot cater all of their queries as much as I would love to. For this reason, I want to recreate myself through others to help me cater the growing Steemians in my field of practice. Right now, I am in the verge of educating the new young professionals I have brought here in order for them to fully grasp Steemit and Cryptocurrency’s technicalities. I have been sending them the necessary tools essential to expound their learnings by sharing all the knowledge and experience I have acquired as a Steemian, Financial Literacy Advocate, and as a Cryptocurrency Investor. That way, I’ll be able to recreate myself through them. In return, they will be able to spread the Steemit Spirit to their fellows as well. Hence, the effort I have exerted will eventually spring out greater networks in Spreading the Steemit Spirit.
Spread the Financial and Cryptocurrency Awareness. This has always been my long-term goal from the very start of my Steemit journey. I always wanted to educate my fellow Filipinos about Financial Literacy. This could mean being consistent about posting Financial Tips especially for young Millennials. As early as now, I want to encourage my fellows to follow the road towards financial freedom for I believe this is something schools never teach us – Financial Literacy.
Empower the Minnows. Right now, I am constantly keeping an eye on undervalued Filipino Minnows I know. As much as I wanted to have a great effect on their earnings through my upvote, I just couldn’t because of the little Voting Power I possess. Instead, I try to leave meaningful comments in addition to uplift their spirits to encourage them to discover and promote their crafts. I want to share the growth I will be experiencing as Sndbox fellow with those minnows.
Teenvestors –- An Online and Offline Steemit and Financial Literacy Orientations for New Millennials. I have already conducted unofficial meetups mainly for educating my colleagues about their finances and also for promoting Steemit. This time, I want to make it official. I want to speak with the crowd may it be a Steemian or a non-Steemian by organizing online and offline discussions. I believe my responsibility doesn’t end with educating them in a one time basis, thus I will be incorporating online orientations on discord in order to keep track on them. That will also be of help to those who have difficulty in attending the offline orientations. This will also serve as a hub for Steemian Cryptocurrency Investors and Traders in order to have a healthy exchange of thoughts with regards to the best strategies that could also aid the ones who are new to it.
As an official Sndbox member, I want use my voice here on Steemit to influence other people, specifically the New Millennials to follow the road towards Financial Freedom. I believe there are some Steemians who are very overwhelmed with their earnings coming from Steemit that they tend to neglect the idea of putting their earnings into more valuable use. I want to help them think for long-term by diversifying their financial portfolios that could help them with their journey towards financial success.
I also see people jumping in the bandwagon of Cryptocurrency without learning about it. They’ve been so caught up with the idea to earn rather than to learn. With that, I want to continuously create helpful articles and organize events that could help them get equipped with the right knowledge and attitude of being a Cryptocurrency Investor. I believe this is also in line with the Sndbox’s mission -- to spread Financial and Cryptocurrency Awareness.
