I got lucky last night and captured the blood moon while shooting the skyline of Little Rock. Part of what I think makes landscape and cityscape photography challenging is the being in the right spot at the right time. The clouds and the light can change so quickly. The amount of time that the blood moon was orange wasn't long, maybe 30 minutes. By the time it was above the city it was back to its normal white.
I almost didn't go to this spot last night. I had started off walking along the river on the north side of the city. Took lots of shots during the golden hour but didn't find anything that I liked so I drove south to set up at this spot.
