¡Hola! a pesar de tener problemas con la conexión a Internet y aprovechando que no tengo acceso a nuevos elementos para diseñar, revisé una carpeta y encontré esta imagen guardada. Para satisfacer mi necesidad creativa, decidí diseñar un póster sobre ella. Así que aquí les dejo el proceso de mi pequeña locura sin internet.
Hello! despite having problems with the internet connection and taking advantage of the fact that I don't have access to new elements to design, I went through a folder and found this saved image. To satisfy my creative need, I decided to design a poster on it. So here I leave you the process of my little madness without internet.
ERROR 💀
Al encontrar esta imagen, pensé en hacer un desahogo aquí. Empecé recortando la imagen, aunque no fue tan fácil y tuve que optar por la herramienta pluma, logrando punto por punto para que quedara alineado. Cometí un error en el proceso, corté mal, y al cerrarse el programa, tuve que empezar de nuevo. Sin embargo, al final del túnel, había una luz con la restauración del archivo... continuemos.
Upon finding this image, I thought, why not share my frustration here. Starting by cropping the image, it wasn't easy, and I had to resort to using the pen tool, achieving point by point precision. I made a mistake in the process, cut it wrongly, and when the program crashed, I had to start over again. However, at the end of the tunnel, there was a light with the file restoration... let's continue.
Instantáneamente, es un estilo que manejo bastante bien en cuanto al ruido, movimiento de la imagen, mapa de degradado y ruido. Así que, por instinto del diseño, apliqué un mapa de degradado con tonos rojos y utilicé un filtro de desenfoque de movimiento para darle ese estilo, que combina tanto el brutalismo como el degradado.
Instantly, it's a style I handle quite well in terms of noise, image movement, gradient map, and blur. So, by design instinct, I applied a gradient map with red tones and used a motion blur filter to give it that style, combining both brutalism and gradient aesthetics.
El título iría cruzado junto a la corona, y parte de las líneas sin relleno saldrían de su ojo, aprovechando la casualidad del oscuro en su ojo y el mapa de degradado, junto con la máscara de capa, que me ayudarían a conformar ese efecto.
The title would go across along with the crown, and some of the unfilled lines would come out of its eye, taking advantage of the darkness in its eye and the gradient map, along with the layer mask, which would help me shape that effect.
Añadiendo una capa de exposición de luz, junto con otra capa del cráneo, utilicé el desenfoque de movimiento y estiramiento para lograr el efecto de desvanecimiento en sus extremos, permitiendo que se ajuste al fondo y al póster final. Todo esto, dentro de mi locura de no tener internet y de conocer a la gente que habita mi casa, quienes dicen ser mis familiares... son buena onda, jaja. Sigamos con el diseño.
Adding a light exposure layer, along with another layer of the skull, I used motion blur and stretching to achieve the fading effect at its ends, allowing it to blend with the background and the final poster. All of this, within my madness of not having internet and meeting the people who claim to be my family in my house... they're cool, haha. Let's continue with the design.
Con unos toques de sombreado, creé este estilo brutalista, sin seguir un orden y combinándolo para cerrar el diseño final. Agregué mi abreviatura S27 y algunas características de relleno. Por último, añadí una textura de plástico, ya que este estilo se caracteriza por un degradado, sin seguimiento lineal de texto y sobre todo, resalta por un realismo brutal, así que espero que te haya gustado mi locura sin internet y pueda volver a recrear y plasmar lo del momento.
With some shading, I created this brutalist style, not following a strict order and combining elements to finalize the design. I added my abbreviation S27 and some filling characteristics. Finally, I incorporated a plastic texture, as this style is known for its gradient, non-linear text arrangement, and above all, it stands out for a brutal realism. I hope you liked my internet-free madness, and I look forward to recreating and capturing the moment again.
