Road to HiveFest #4 - Kumbaja & Monster Hunter (GER|ENG)

Die Unterkünfte sind gebucht und das Commitment ist somit nahezu perfekt. Das Einzige das noch fehlt sind die Tickets für die Anreise. Welche Unterkünfte wir uns gegönnt haben? Auch wenn ich es den anderen HiQ Dude(tte)s vorweg nehme, erzähle ich euch jetzt.

Lange haben wir diskutiert, welches der perfekte Ort für einen HiQ Hivestyler wär, um beim HiveFest zu nächtigen. Hive account@quekery und ich waren der felsenfesten Überzeugung, dass es in einem Zelt wär. (Für jeden ein Zelt natürlich. Normal.) Hive account@mary-me wollte allerdings ein Zimmer haben. Bestenfalls ein Hotelzimmer. "Weil ich ein Mädchen bin." ist ihre Begründung. Nachvollziehbar, denn ein HiQ Hivestyler ist bekanntermaßen smart, stylish und vorallem im höchsten Maße sexy. Wenn man dann noch ein Mädchen ist, möchte man eine abschließbare Unterkunft. Zudem benötigt Marinsky noch den Luxus eines echten Bettes. Ich persönlich kann auf auf nem Ziegelstein schlafen, wenn es sich anböte.

So haben wir uns für den Campingplatz Zeeburg in Amsterdam entschieden. Er ist zwar ein paar Kilometer vom Main Event weg, aber theoretisch auch gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein paar Dübel in den Kopf und der Weg schwebt sich von alleine. LOOL. Marinsky hat von den HiQ Spesen eine Eco Cabin gebucht bekommen. Wobei Queker und ich uns dort jeder einen Platz ausgesucht haben um unser Zelt aufzuschlagen. Nebeneinander versteht sich, wir müssen ja eine lokale Monster Hunter Lobby aufmachen können. Direkt am Wasser und unweit von allen sanitären Einrichtungen auf dem Platz.

The accommodations are booked and the commitment is almost perfect. The only thing that is still missing are the tickets for the journey. Which accommodations we have treated ourselves? Even if I anticipate the other HiQ Dude(tte)s, I tell you now.

For a long time we discussed what would be the perfect place for a HiQ Hivestyler to spend the night at HiveFest. Hive account@quekery and I were convinced that it would be in a tent. (One tent for each, of course. Normal.) Hive account@mary-me, however, wanted a room. At best, a hotel room. "Because I am a girl." is her reason. Understandable, because a HiQ Hivestyler is known to be smart, stylish and above all sexy to the highest degree. Then, when you're a girl, you want lockable accommodations. Marinsky also needs the luxury of a real bed. Personally, I could sleep on a brick if I had to.

So we chose the Zeeburg campsite in Amsterdam. It's a few kilometers away from the main event, but theoretically within walking distance. A few spliffs and the way floats itself. LOOL. Marinsky got an Eco Cabin booked by the HiQ Expenses. Whereby Queker and I have each chosen a place there to pitch our tent. Side by side of course, we have to be able to open a local Monster Hunter lobby. Directly on the water and not far from all sanitary facilities on the site.

Wie wir nach Amsterdam reisen wollen wissen wir jedoch noch nicht so ganz. Ich persönlich werde mit dem Zug anreisen. Das ist nicht so teuer. Marinsky hat jedoch von uns allen den längsten Weg. Ob sie mit dem Zug fährt weiß sie noch nicht. Fliegen ist manchmal günstiger. Außerdem muss sie ja auch noch arbeiten und kann nicht nen ganzen Tag mit An- und Abreise wasten. Quekeron wird vermutlich auch Zug fahren. Seine Strecke wär so ein Mittelding zwischen Marinsky und mir. Allerdings wird das wohl die kleinste Hürde sein.

Ich fang jetzt die Tage mal an meinen ganzen Zeltscheiß zusammenzusuchen und meine Tasche sauber zu machen. Die ist vom letzten Ausflug noch bisschen siffig. Und bis dahin wünsche ich euch noch ein schönes Monatsende, wir werden uns noch fleißig für die Hauptausgabe der Hive account@hiq und Hive account@hiq.magazine hinsetzen müssen. Abgesehen von dem anderen Kram den wir geplant haben.

However, we don't quite know yet how we will travel to Amsterdam. Personally, I will travel by train. It's not that expensive. Marinsky, however, has the longest way of all of us. She doesn't know yet if she will take the train. Flying is sometimes cheaper. Besides, she still has to work and can't waste a whole day traveling. Quekeron will probably also take the train. His route (lengthwhise) would be something in between Marinsky and me. However, that will probably be the smallest hurdle.

I'm going to start gathering all my tent shit and cleaning my bag. It's still a bit filthy from the last trip. And until then, have a great end of the month, we'll have to sit down for the main edition of Hive account@hiq and Hive account@hiq.magazine. Apart from the other stuff we have planned.
