Sunny day today. After heavy rain last night. It is a blessing for rice farmers.
Just the right time. Rice plants that have been sown first can finally be moved to a rice field that has been flooded with water.
The rice planting season has arrived and I am getting ready to help my family plant the rice. My main job is not a farmer. Even so, I am happy to help my uncles and aunts grow crops.
Today I helped my aunt in the rice field. I don't plant rice plants. I just helped my aunt uproot the rice plants and move the rice plants into the rice field.
The distance from the seed beds and rice field area is around 200 meters. A useful activity to keep me fit too.
In our area there are two important stages of planting rice. We do not immediately plant rice in one rice field area directly until harvest. But we use the technique of planting rice seeds first on land.
Initially I uprooted the rice plants. Then tie the rice plants into several groups.
At first glance, rice plants are similar to grass and wheat grass.
They are ready to be moved to a more well-watered planting area if previously they were only sown on land without being flooded with water.
After finishing removing the rice plants, I then moved them to the rice field. Slowly I brought as many bundles of rice plants as I could with both hands.
Balance must also be maintained properly in this activity. When passing through small connecting paths or barriers between rice fields, we can easily slip and fall if we don't maintain balance.
In other areas, you can see many rice field areas that have been planted with rice plants. Beautiful view, right?
Well, the rice plants that have been moved to rice plants look shorter. That's because we have to insert them into the ground long enough so that they don't easily come off in the stagnant water in the rice planting area.
Up to this point, my activities in agriculture have ended. Thanks for stopping by Hive friends
