Opět jsme se posunuli o jednu stanici dále po trase B Pražského metra. Dnes jsme dorazili do stanice Nové Butovice. Pojďme se podívat jak to ve stanici a jejím okolí vypadá pohledem skrze objektiv.
The station was opened under the name Dukelská on October 26, 1988. After 1989, it was renamed to its current form. Nové Butovice is an excavated station located 5.3 meters below the surface and was the final station until 1994.
Stanice byla otevřena pod jménem Dukelská 26. října 1988. Po roce 1989 přejmenována do současné podoby. Nové Butovice je hloubenou stanicí ležící 5.3 metru pod povrchem a do roku 1994 byla stanicí konečnou.
The entire station is lined with ceramic plates in combination with brass sheets. Exit from the station is possible on both sides. On one side you climb to the bus terminal and on the other side to the residential and commercial zone.
Celá stanice je obložena keramickými deskami v kombinaci s mosaznými plechy. Výstup ze stanice je možný na obou stranách. Na jedné straně vylezete k autobusovému terminálu a na druhé straně do obytné a komerční zóny.
The area between the exits is a free space that is very little used and lives its wild life.

At the second exit, you can see a huge stone sculpture by the academic sculptor Milan Vácha.

There is still some construction going on around the station, so the area is constantly changing. Nové Butovice is an example of how former socialist construction can be connected with modern ones.
V okolí stanice stále probíhá nějaká výstavba a tak se okolí stále mění. Nové Butovice jsou příkladem toho jak lze propojit bývalou socialistickou výstavbu s moderní.
