This is not glorifying death but respecting true skill from Canada’s most secretive military branch. The JTF2 is our most elite and is sometimes rented out by the USA military.
One sniper shot prevented an airstrike and spared civilian lives.
”Military experts believe the successful shot may have set a record.
The previous record was held by British sniper, Craig Harrison, who shot and killed a Taliban attacker from 2,475 meters in 2009 using an L115A3 long range rifle.”.

The skill required to make such a shot includes taking into consideration the winds, gravity and most importantly the earth curvature. The bullet flew through the air for almost 10 seconds. The shear physics of such a shot would require robotic intervention or some divine force guiding you.

Who are Joint Task Force 2?
These guys are the Canada’s top solders. Their department is guaranteed to receive no less than $100million in funding for only 600 members. That’s some budget. Not to mention the new base their having built which is estimated to top $1 billion and completed in 2019.

They jump out planes from above the clouds into enemy lines with no way out. They sit up high in the mountains of Afghanistan and point lasers at targets so the US can bomb the heck out the ISIS.
Pretty much everything they do is top secret and the government is forbidden from talking about them publicly or at least they never do. Most data available is out dated.
Most Canadians have never even heard of the Joint Task Force 2 also called JTF2
Check out this 3:53 minute promo video. These guys do it all. They’re like Navy Seals and Rangers in one; in America I think they call this type of solder Rambo.
