Mis padres siempre tuvieron la costumbre de fotografiarme desde bebé; en cada momento, había una foto especial. Les agradezco eso, pues solo así puedo ver ahora cómo era de niño. Más allá de los retratos fotográficos, hay algo que caracteriza mucho a mi mamá y papá, y esto es la predisposición que tuvieron para que tanto mis hermanos como yo nos educáramos y fuéramos, y cito: "alguien en la vida". Mi educación en la escuela comenzó cuando apenas tenía yo unos tres años; nunca lloré en el kínder, por el contrario, mi mamá cuenta que le preguntaba por qué el resto de niños sí lloraban si el lugar era muy bonito.
Intenté buscar las fotografías de mi graduación de escuela primaria, pero solo conseguí las del Kínder. Buscando fotos me topé con las relacionadas con mi graduación de bachillerato. Tengo recuerdos muy bonitos de esa etapa educativa. Recuerdo que era muy responsable, nunca faltaba a clases y procuraba tener calificaciones altas. Gran parte de mis amigos me buscaban para que los ayudara con matemáticas o química, asignatura que eran las más odiadas por aquel entonces. A mí me gustaba (y me gusta) estudiar.
Si he de recordar algo, me remonto al día en que me tomé la fotografía grupal en mi graduación de bachillerato. Éramos más lo que debíamos aparecer en esa foto, pero hubo desacuerdos por el precio que debíamos pagar. Obvio, yo elegí lo que la mayoría eligió, y gualá, allí están los valiosos recuerdos, en un álbum empastado con una escritura muy bonita. Me he dado la tarea de ir buscando y coleccionando estas imágenes, no solo acá en blockchain, sino que también en un lugar en el que, tiempo después, pueda sacarlas para enseñárselas a mis futuros hijos XD.
Es increíble como pasan los años; cada fotografía guarda una parte de nosotros, de lo que alguna vez fuimos en el pasado, y lo mucho que hemos cambiado (o deberíamos cambiar) ahora que vivimos el presente. Vivir es un legado de lecciones, y las más bonitas, deben permanecer talladas en el tiempo...

My parents always had the habit of photographing me since I was a baby; every moment had a special photo. I'm grateful for that, because that's the only way I can see what I was like as a child. Beyond the photographic portraits, there's something that truly characterizes my mom and dad, and that is the willingness they had for both my siblings and me to receive an education and become, and I quote, "someone in life." My education began when I was barely three years old; I never cried in kindergarten; on the contrary, my mom says I used to wonder why the other children cried when the place was so beautiful.
I tried to find my elementary school graduation photos, but I only found those from kindergarten. While searching for photos, I came across those related to my high school graduation. I have very fond memories of that educational stage. I remember that I was very responsible, never skipped school, and tried hard to get high grades. Many of my friends sought me out for help with math or chemistry, which were the most hated subjects back then. I liked (and still like) studying.
If I have to remember anything, it's the day I took the group photo at my high school graduation. There were more of us who were supposed to appear in that photo, but there were disagreements over the price we should pay. Obviously, I chose what the majority did, and wow, there are the precious memories, in an album bound with beautiful handwriting. I've taken it upon myself to search for and collect these images, not only here on the blockchain, but also in a place where, some time later, I can take them out to show my future children XD.
It's incredible how the years go by; each photograph holds a part of us, of what we once were in the past, and how much we've changed (or should change) now that we live in the present. Living is a legacy of lessons, and the most beautiful ones must remain carved in time...
