Hello dear friends of steemit. My last post will have made them see my interest in communication and language in general. Today I continue in that line and I want to share, in that sense, some small, but very important, notes on communication and language in humans.

Codes and messages
A code consists of a limited set of signs. According to the shape of the signs, the messages are classified as visual and auditory.
The human language
Human language constitutes a complex communication system capable of transmitting a large amount of information. The signs that this language is served are called linguistic signs.
The components of the linguistic sign are two significant and the meaning. The relationship between the meaning and the signifier is arbitrary.
The functions of the language
According to the intention of the verbal communication, the following functions of the language can be established: expressive, conative, factual or contact, referential or representative, poetic or aesthetic and metalinguistic.
