Taking photos of the Tea Olive plant using my blacklight really opened my eyes to the leaf structure. The mature leaves are mostly solid, but areas of the leaf are transparent and makes for fractal like patterns.

Using my LED blacklight I put it about a foot above the leaves. As it shines through the leaves they glow through the thin areas of the leaves I assume.
It was hard to focus on the whole leaf when this close, which I did focus stacking on my other posts. These though are all just cropped, no merging of layers.
