Yep, so the season is here for those luscious ripe Mangos to be falling like candy from the trees! July is MANGO month in Mexico and what an exciting month it is!

MANGOS ARE FREE IN LO DE MARCOS, MEXICO

Because there are just SO many mangos, the locals who own the trees ask as many people as possible to come and gather as many as they can!

If they don't, not only is it just a bigger mess on the ground, but bees come too!

So...we jerry-rigged a HOOK and went a hunting for some mangos!!

LONG POLE+DUCT TAPE+ HAMMER= ONE AWESOME MANGO GRABBER!!!

What's also great is if there are any fruit trees on public land and not on private property, anyone is welcome to the fruit anytime of year!

That's how we were able to get these awesome Tamarinds!

They are ripe when you open them and they are "sticky!" If they are dry, then they are old. Tamarinds are SO good for you...honestly, look u the benefits!! We love making Tamarind Water! Which we will put in a post to come!
