The Alexa-powered Voice one costs the same as regular Amazon Echo, but with plenary of original design touches, it’s and interestingly difference proposition.

Voice one is relatively large it’s taller than Echo Pkis, with a force print almost as big as Apple HomePod. The LED ring on the front is surrounded by a volume dial and flashes when you turn it.

Above it, there’s a microphone mute button, the light ring turns red when the Voice One isnt’t listening. While below source button, it lets you switch between Alexa, Bluetooth and 3.5mm line inputs. In Wi-Fi mode, the Voice One can do most of the things we expect from Alexa where you can stream music from Amazon and Spotify. However there’s cons, you can’t make calls to other Echo devices not can you change the wake word.

If you own multiple of Voice One, you can even pair it up to make it surround sound. However the quality of sound it isn’t that great after all, the bass is weak and flappy. But hey, combining above features is a smart speaker though, but you’ll have to decide whether that’s worth the trade-off.
