Rally Catalunya is special event because it's driven on two different surfaces: tarmac and gravel. First day is whole on gravel and Saturday and Sunday are tarmac days. It's little difficult for the first cars on the road on Friday because Spanish (Catalan) roads are very dirty full of stones that has to cleaned from strong gravel surface for better grip/traction.
Here we have A.Mikkelsen behind a wheel of Hyundai i20 WRC 2017 who started later and down the order, there fore he had much better grip.
