Hi, Steemers!
Toyota Gazoo World Rally Team has their headquarters in Finland on the same place where their boss Tommi Makinen had his Subaru group N workshop. Of course, it's now much bigger.
FIA rules say that you can have tests how much you want in the country where the team is. And is there any better place for this then Finland?! Hardly. Their super fast gravel roads are ideal to make a great rally car.
And we must admit they're doing amazing job for now. Also they have one win this season, in Sweden for Latvala. And don't forget: Sweden is super fast rally, something similar to Finland but on snow.
That's their advantage to other teams. They probably have their own roads for testing where they can fix the set up to perfection because Finland is a lot about woods. And if you can afford to buy some hectares of the wood with some gravel road, what is better then that?!
There's also one more thing that we have to mention: their third driver Lappi is becoming quicker and quicker every rally. And he's probably Finland's newest hope for a title of World Champion. But it's a still long road in front of him. There's plenty of very quick drivers outhere and they all have to fight Ogier, four times World Rally Champion.
We will see what Latvala, Hanninen and Lappi (all three Finns) can do against opposition. They will need the best possible car for a win in Finland.
