I say this now, but now that I am thinking about it if someone was to ask me "pick one forever" I don't know what to answer.
But after playing Pokemon Polished Crystal, catching every single Pokemon in their Pokédex and completing all the side missions and trainers, one of my all time favourite Pokemon is the alolan moltres.
I am playing this using the Delta app on my iPhone and its been super fun, I am able to save multiple files and put the speed to 3 or 4x so I can do things way faster than regular speed if I am hunting for shiny eggs. One of my favourite emulators that work for apple products, can play Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64, Gameboy, Gameboy advanced and Nintendo DS with Delta app
This particular molters has a very powerful ability that works well with its stats. You will notice that the relaxed nature gives it a higher than normal defence stat and a lower than normal speed stat. this works well for 2 reasons. For one the defence protects it from getting rekt hard from physical attacks, and the speed makes it go second. Now why is going second good? Well its Berserk ability makes the sp attack go nice and high when its damaged below half health. Giving it a powerful counter attack when its time to fight back
This is where Sucker Punch comes in, Sucker Punch is like quick attack or extreme speed making Moltres attack first, so if it's about to get knocked out it can hit hard first no matter what. nasty plot significantly increases its special attack which makes that dark pulse super wild
Now what you see here is something I found that blew my mind, it's the Pokérus virus that boosts stats. I got it randomly and that is right, I made sure to spread that thing among all of my guys. Almost all of my Pokemon are infected (that's a good thing). Now this one with the circle without the legs means this moltres can't spread the virus but it still retains the stat boosting effects.
I really like this Moltres, its such a powerhouse its wild to me how it was able to sweep teams like its nothing. The dark type is wild and spanks so many enemies like they are nothing.
